Our Junior Counselor Program is designed for students in Grades 5–8 who are ready to step into a leadership role while still having fun. Junior Counselors serve as classroom assistants in our younger groups, helping with activities, modeling positive behavior, and supporting teachers and campers throughout the day.
Each Junior Counselor is paired with a dedicated teacher who provides guidance, mentorship, and support as they build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. The program includes a daily check-in to reflect, ask questions, and celebrate successes.
As a thank-you for their hard work, Junior Counselors will enjoy a special end-of-week treat—pizza or boba—to celebrate their contributions and growth. At the end of the summer, participants may also request a Certificate of Completion from the Director of Auxiliary, recognizing their commitment, leadership, and participation in the program.
